A four physician practice where one of the physicians has been working part-time and will be retiring shortly is looking for an additional associate to replace him. Call would be 1:4 with the addition of the new physician. The group goes to two nearby hospitals and averages around 10 inpatients and 3-4 consults a day. 90% of the procedures are done at the physician owned Endoscopy center (Ownership opportunity upon partnership). Each physician does 12-15 procedures a week working 2 half days in the center. The new person would work a five day work week until they become a partner at which time they have option to go to four days (two years). A competitive salary plus malpractice, health insurance, retirement plan, three weeks vacation and one week of CME in the first year. They have not had turnover and are looking for long-term commitment from someone with ties to the area. They do ERCP which would be a plus but not a necessity. The practice is located 35 minutes to downtown San Francisco and 20 minutes to Oakland so the individual joining could live in either if they chose to.
